Some journeys are remembered for the mountains they conquer.
Some are remembered for the stories they leave behind.
This Independence Day weekend, Prawasvede invites you on a unique journey through the heart of Konkan—where mist-covered mountains, ancient temples, roaring waterfalls, dense forests, and powerful chapters of Maratha history come together to create an unforgettable experience.
Our journey begins with the breathtaking Lingyacha Dongar Trek, an offbeat trail that rewards every step with panoramic views of the lush Sahyadri ranges during the peak of the monsoon. Away from crowded tourist destinations, this hidden mountain offers a peaceful trekking experience through forests, streams, and green plateaus.
From there, we travel to the sacred Marleshwar Temple, an ancient Shiva shrine nestled inside a natural cave amidst the Western Ghats. During the monsoon, the temple transforms into a magical destination as clouds drift through the valley and the nearby Marleshwar Waterfall gushes down the cliffs in spectacular fashion.
The journey then takes us to Sangameshwar, a historic town whose name echoes through the pages of Maratha history. Beyond its natural beauty lies one of the most emotional and significant chapters associated with Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Throughout the journey, our trek leaders will share the stories, legends, and historical events that shaped this land, transforming every stop into a living classroom.
This is more than a trek. It is a carefully curated exploration of nature, heritage, spirituality, and history. Whether you are a trekking enthusiast, a history lover, a photographer, or someone looking to experience Konkan during its most beautiful season, this journey promises memories that will stay with you long after the weekend ends.
Join us this Independence Day and experience Konkan the way it deserves to be explored—through its landscapes, its people, and its stories.
Every Journey is a New Story.
