Let's Explore the Maratha Capital in a Different Way Raigad Fort was the Capital fort of Maratha Kingdom, after Rajgad Fort. This fort is situated on a mountain surrounded by deep valleys and has straight falling cliffs on all its sides. The surrounding valleys are full of thick vegetation and the area is part of the famous Javali Forest. The trail around the Raigad Fort goes through this thick vegetation and gives us an amazing opportunity to explore the region and know how the fort looks from all sides. This 15 km trail is also considered to be a sacred trail amongst the Shivaji maharaj followers as they get to a around the Capital of Maratha Kingdom, where the Remains of Maharaj are present on the top. 

  Sandhan valley, "The Great Canyon" in the Sahyadri ranges which is combination of a canyon and a valley. Located 25 km from Bhandardara, behind Samrad village in the Ahmednagar district,Maharashtra near the famous fort Ratangad. Sandhan valley is also known as The Valley of Shadows.There is also reversing water falls nearby but it's active during monsoon only.

     Malshej Ghat  is a mountain pass in the Western Ghats range in the Kalyan–Ahmednagar Road of Maharashtra, India. The site in the hills of the Western Ghats.Malshej Ghat is known for several types avian population and marriage particularly known for flamingoes.The monsoon months of August and September are a good time to visit Malshej Ghat, with green hills and exotic flamingos visit this area during monsoon months. Old malshej ghat is offbeat jungle trail which starts from MTDC Malshej Ghat and ends near base of Kalu Waterfall.Trail covers 7 to 8 Km total distance.

The Kas Plateau Reserved Forest, also known as the Kaas Pathar, is a plateau situated 25 kilometres west from Satara city in Maharashtra, India.It is situated high hill plateaus and grasslands turns into a 'valley of flowers' during monsoon season.Kaas Pathar is a plateau made from volcanic rocks in the Satara district of Maharashtra, and comes under the biosphere of the Western Ghats.The best time to visit Kaas Plateau is during the month of September or early October. Kaas has more than 850 different species of flowering plants. Kaas plateau is a World Natural Heritage site, part of the Sahyadri Sub-cluster. Thoseghar Waterfalls is a scenic spot located near the small village of Thoseghar, 20 km from Satara city.There are a series of waterfalls, some of them 15 to 20 metres and one of approx 200 metres in height. Sajjangad meaning "Fort of Good People", is located near the city of Satara, India.  Kalu Waterfall is one of the highest & most scenic waterfalls in Sahyadri. It's on the Kalu River which originates at Khireshwar gathering water from various waterfalls, mainly from Harishchandragad fort mountain. Then it flows through the Khireshwar plateau to jump down 1200 ft to the Valley on the Konkan Side, near Thitbi.This 4 tier Waterfall is makes it a breathtaking landscape for the visitors to fall in love with the nature.

What can be better than watching a Beautiful Sunrise from the Highest Peak of Maharashtra?    Kalsubai is the highest peak of Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district in Akola taluka. It is known as the Everest of Maharashtra. Its summit, situated at an elevation of 1,646 metres, is the highest point Maharashtra.There is a small temple of Goddess Kalsubai on the summit.The Hiking trail is 6.6 km from Bari village.
