Harihar fort / Harshagad is a fort located 40 km from Nashik City, 48 km from Igatpuri, 40 km from Ghoti in Nashik district, of Maharashtra. It is an important fort in Nashik district, and was constructed to look upon the trade route through Gonda Ghat. It receives many visitors because of its peculiar rock-cut steps.

About Fireflies : Fireflies, the twinkling insects that belong to the family of beetles.Fireflies light up in night due to a bioluminescent reaction that takes place in their bodies.Fireflies use flashes as mating signals. The flashes that you see in your yard are generally from males looking for females. They flash a specific pattern while they fly, hoping for a female reply..Ideally, the best time to watch these fireflies are during the pre-monsoon months of May and June.Particularly during the first two weeks of June because it is the peak mating season for fireflies.Life span is just one to three weeks.   Kataldhar Waterfall flows down a Cliff near Lonavala in to the Valley beneath and confluences further with Ulhas River.   We trek down from Lonavala side to the base of this 350ft waterfall to see the waterfall from the base.

Aadrai Jungle is located near Junnar,Pune in Khireshwar region and it is a scenic trail.“Lost in the Dense Woods” is an apt word for this trek.The trail passes through various streams and passing waterfalls, view of 1200 feet Kalu Waterfall. Medium endurance level required as Trek is a long flat walk.This trail is Perfect for beginner.

  Lingya Ghat & Nisanichi Vaat are passes which connect Dhamanhol Village on the Deccan Plateau side to Kurdu Peth on the Konkan side through the hills of Sahyadris.   We all know Lavasa very well, but are unaware of the places nearby. Dhamanhol is one such remote village which is equally beautiful and peaceful.

Railing Pateau(रायलिंग) is situated about 90 km from Pune.From the Plateau you can see huge Lingana fort very near to you and Raigad in the background. The villagers tell that the Railing(रायलिंग)is named because Raigad and Lingana forts can be seen from this plateau, so its combined the names of both forts and named Railing.The Cave at Lingana fort which was used as a Jail also visible from Plateau.The plateau is very scenic in the monsoon season.

Fenyadevi & Payarichi Vaat are Ancient Trails throught Sahyadri hills which Connect Konkan Region to the Main PLateau of Maharashtra. These two trails are in Andhar Maval Region.
